Philip Seymour Hoffman played a heroin addict in this movie and was one in real life.

The scenes where Andy Hanson ( Philip Seymour Hoffman) uses heroin were filmed in an apartment on a high floor on the southwest corner of Trump World Tower.

When I heard the very sad news I remembered these scenes.

Isn't that tragic?
